Little Guy needs ASA bat advice
I'm 6' tall, but only 145lbs. I'm a leadoff hitter, line drives either way, but would like a little more pop (harder, not necessarily farther.)
I currently have, and love, a 2014 Worth 454 Balance USSSA. Unfortunately, I've switched exclusively to ASA all and can't use this bat. I believe most of my ball will be played with 52/.275 balls, but I'm sure there will be a decent bit of 44-47/375 in there, so I need something that works pretty well with both. I play Co-Ed, B-C leagues, and am in NC, so it is HOT for a lot of them.
I really don't have a preference to comp vs steel, single vs double wall, etc. as I don't have enough experience with a variety of bats (and knowing what I'm hitting with) to know the difference. I hit w/a gray & maroon Synergy the other night that I really liked (don't know what it was, but it was ASA), and I hit pretty good w/ my wife's Mizuno Craze.
Any advice guys? I'm hoping for a 27 oz, all around great bat, that will help with the doubles and triples.
Thanks!
