Default Demarini Vexxum vs Anderson NanoTek SP Alpha

I got the go ahead to purchase a new "team" bat this year. We are a single wall only league.

I am looking at the Demarini Vexxum ($120 on Amazon) and the Anderson NanoTek SP Alpha ($140 from Anderson direct). We really don't want to spend $200 on last years white steel so please keep it between these two bats unless you guys have a better suggestion for less than $150.

The two are very similar with composite handle, alloy single wall barrel, but I think the Vexxum is slightly end loaded where the nano is balanced.

Thanks!

by go ahead team approved or significant other approved, makes a difference for my next suggestion.

Team approved
have the others throw in $20 per player and get both if its a team bat,

Significant other approved
have the others throw in $10 per player and get both, that way your not out anymore $ than was approved and you have 2 bats for the team.

Appreciate the response but unfortunately we are only going to buy one. From your response neither appears to be crap or else you would have said to stay away from one or the other.

Our team is very laid back/conservative. Not many people care if we use a $30 bat or $300 bat.

Leaning either way?

Man I feel sorry for you playing in single wall leagues. I would not pay that much for a metal, single wall. That is highway robbery.
Vexum isnt that great on performance, but will last longer. The Alpha is a solid bat, but will not last that long, before waves will appear.
before you wast money on a bat...................see here, Post #7

I can't see the responses on that other forum because I'm not a registered member. I saw that Easton L9.0 but it's 26oz I searched high and low for a 28oz model but they are sold out everywhere or $200.

I know this is an old thread, and the point may be moot but Anderson also made an Omega Nano two pc that was end loaded. I was a great bat but no longer in production. Look around for a used one, I sold mine cause it was banned in my single wall league.
