Default Bat Confusion! - Worth SBSKRA and SBSKRU

So I coach (fairly new coach, they needed someone lol) a women's slowpitch team and this came up after our last game when one of our bats was contested. I'm trying to learn all these ASA and USSSA rules and such for bats.

Our league rules state that the bat must either be an ASA approved bat, and/or carry the 1.20 bpf.

The bat in question is a Worth 454 Resmondo Max End Load, model number SBSKRU, and it carries the 1.20 bpf, so it's legal, so that's all good.

But when I was doing research on ASA bats, I noticed that on the approved list is a Worth 454 Resmondo Max End Load, model SBSKRA that is ASA approved.

What is the difference between the two bats???? They both have 1.20 bpf. They are both Worth 454 Resmondo Max End Loads. The ONLY difference I can find is the model number. One guy said the SBSKRU was hotter than the SBSKRA, but he doesn't know why. Is it a different construction? I can't seem to find those kind of specs on either bat.

Is every bat made tested to both ASA and USSSA and then based on performance a certification chosen? And am I correct in assuming that if it is ASA certified, it also meets the standards for USSSA? Is bpf the only thing that qualifies a bat for ASA or USSSA?

Please point me in the right direction here, as I'd love to learn this stuff, I'm just struggling finding clear answers.

Thanks!

Is it not the same bat? If not, how's it different?

There are not the same bat. The asa only one is designed for asa rules (compression and for the balls).
The utrip one... same.

not the same bat. ASA/UTRIPhave different standards and each bat is made to meet those standards.
If your league has a stipulation about the 1.20 thingy...both bats should be usable in your league.
oh and Worth made ...like 50 models of the 454.
