Music City National Classic | Nashville, TN

EVENT SUMMARY: Top Recruit® is hosting a mid-summer weeklong national event, a first of its kind for the Eastern half of the country. With so much attention being put towards the western region, the purpose of the Music City event is to provide a platform where teams have the option to compete in Power Pools, Open divisions, and take advantage of opportunities teams deserve. We are looking to bring a lot of attention, guest speakers, demonstration seminars and featured spotlight games to the East Region. From the Northeast, Great Lakes, Midwest, Southeast and Mid-Atlantic, we are excited to welcoming teams to one of the great American cities for families and teams to travel to in Nashville, TN and all of the fantastic participating municipalities. The Music City National Classic was created to provide the greatest national event platform and experience for teams, coaches and families in one of the nation’s greatest family-friendly cities.



HOST CITY: Nashville, TN

ADDITIONAL HOST CITIES/COUNTIES: Madison, Franklin, Hendersonville, Columbia, and Rutherford County

HEADQUARTER FACILITY: CEDAR HILL PARK

EVENING FESTIVITIES: General Admission into Cedar Hill Park will be enforced every afternoon. Vendors showcasing food, equipment, merchandise, etc will be available.

SIZE OF TOURNAMENT: 250-300 team max

AGE CUTOFF DATE: 12/31/2016


EXPOSURE TOURNAMENT FORMAT: Exposure Tournament; Showcase Games/Pool Play, Collegiate Clinics, Measurement Combine Testing, Top Recruit Games (Allstar Games coached by NAIA & JUCO coaches)

OPENING CEREMONIES, GUEST SPEAKING ENGAGEMENTS/SEMINARS, OPTIONAL COLLEGE CLINICS (INDIVIDUALS ONLY) AND COACHES MEETING (AT HOST HOTEL TBA)

>>TUESDAY-THURSDAY:

4 GAMES PLAYED WITH AN OFF-DAY. 2 EXHIBITION GAMES . 2 BOX BRACKET GAMES THAT WILL SEED YOU INTO YOUR ELIMINATION BRACKET FOR FRIDAY.

>>FRIDAY:

ELIMINATION BRACKET PLAY


# OF GUARANTEED GAMES: Minimum 6 games

PRICING DETAILS: Early Bird $895 ($925 after October 1st). Entry fee must be submitted with registration no later than November 30, 2016 to be considered for the Music City Red, White & Blue Classic. All entry fees will be processed/deposited upon initial submittal. Refunds upon non-acceptance will be processed no later than December 15th, 2016. No refunds will be issued if you cancel once your team has been accepted. A full refund will be returned if cancelled from the waiting list.

AWARDS: 1st-6th Place teams earn 2018 Music City Classic Tournament berths, 1st-4th Teams earn Top Recruit Team & Individual Awards

AGE DIVISIONS: 12u, 14u Open & 14 Premier, 16u/18u with Power Pool by application

SCHEDULES AVAILABLE: Will be available by June 12th, check back here

OPENING CEREMONIES & SIGNATURE SPEAKERS/DEMONSTRATIONS: Monday will consist of opening ceremonies, college clinics & highlighted by abguest speaker panel and demonstration seminars.

SHOWCASE EXHIBITION GAME: 18u Gold teams approved to play in this event at a featured time and streamed live online. Will be played at Cedar Hill Park Quad.

POOL PLAY PRACTICE GAMES: Every team will have essentially two situational showcase-style games as the first 2 of the 4 pool games between Tuesday-Thursday. The other two pool games will count for seeding into Friday’s Bracket play:

1ST & 2ND INNINGS PLAY STRAIGHT UP

3RD INNING STARTS WITH A RUNNER ON 1ST BASE

4TH INNING STARTS WITH A RUNNER ON 2ND BASE

5TH INNING STARTS WITH A RUNNER ON 3RD BASE

6TH INNING STARTS WITH RUNNERS ON 1ST AND 2ND BASE

7TH INNING STARTS WITH BASES LOADED
