5 Game Guarantee - 3 pool, double elim

Event Summary: Top Recruit® is hosting a 5 GG exposure tournament in Northern Illinois. Every team registered in the event will receive TEAM COMBINE testing, which will take place on Day 1 of games.

Event Format: 5GG: 3 Pool (1 instructional games will college coaches & 2 games to seed) into Double Elimination Bracket on SundayNote: Teams should expect to play 3 games on Saturday
Daily itinerary (subject to change if needed to adjust for possible weather issue):
Saturday: Day 1 of games and College Exposure Camp
Game play will begin at 8am
Each team will receive 1 college coached instructional game with 2 coaches from different programs attending on-field
Exposure Camp will begin at approx. 5pm
*Each team is required to have 3 players in the camp
*a team may opt-out of this at registration
Sunday: Bracket Play - Double Elimination
Games beginning at 8am sharp
There will be an if-game for Championship Games where appropriate

Tournament Size: 15 teams per age division

# of Guaranteed Games: 5gg: 1 instructional games & 2 showcase games into Double Elimination Bracket

Tournament Balls: Included

Gate Fee: No gate fee

Team Combine: All players will be administered the following tests on Saturday Sept 9th during the College Camp:
20 yard dash
Swing Metrics: Bat Exit Speeds
Throwing Velocities
Each player will receive an Athlete Report, which Top Recruit will email to the coaches within 72 hours of the combine.

Pool Play Showcase Games: The 1 Instructional Game with College Coaches is mandatory and will be situationally formatted as follows to ensure on-field action for them to see:
1st & 2nd Innings play straight up
3rd inning starts with a runner on 1st Base
4th Inning Starts with a runner on 2nd Base
5th Inning Starts with a runner on 3rd Base
6th Inning starts with runners on 1st and 2nd Base
7th Inning starts with bases loaded
Note: Due to college coaches being on the field and able to stop play and coach up action during this game, there will only be 1 umpire on the field, behind the plate.

Rules: Instructional Game with College Coaches:
Game 1 for every team will be their instructional game, unless otherwise notified
Bat your lineup, FREE substitution, 75min drop dead
2 Pool Games for seeding
Bat your lineup, FREE substitutions, courtesy runners for P/C (if no available subs, last batted out becomes courtesy runner), 75-min finish the inning
Tie-breaker: ITB
Bracket play:
Bat your lineup, FREE substitutions, courtesy runners for P/C (if no available subs, last batted out becomes courtesy runner), 75-min finish the inning
Tie-breaker: ITB
Championship Game: 90-mins or 7 innings
Tie-breaker: ITB
