Default Position Specific Glove Shaping

How many of you guys shape your glove specific to position played? Seen some guys flare their picky and thumb out, some minimize finger bending keeping the glove long as possible, others with the tops of the middle/ring fingers curled in heavily, another with the picky and thumb curled towards each other.

How do you shape your glove and how do you feel it benefits you at your position? Include pics if possible, I'll put mine up tomorrow.

I give the fingers a little bend just to create more of a "scoop" I only play first base or very very seldomly outfield so it works for me. I'm still working on breaking in my newest glove but my old ones look like a big scoop.

I've played with a first base mit, and honsetly think a regular fielder's glove shaped like I typically do it works better for me.

I play ss with a 14 inch glove and keep all my fingers inside of the glove. I never felt comfortable with a index or any finger for that matter out of my glove. I hope I am making sense towards your question. Might just be blabbing.

I play everywhere in the infield, I have my pinky and thumb slightly curved in, I lotion it once a month. So it is loose as hell. It is a nice soft basket, perfect for grounders and line drives.

My gloves shape oddly because I use a modified grip. that vulcan shit. works well for me in OF because the pocket feels twice as big. I've had some botched transitions with it playing IF, but nothing consistently problematic. I just have be a little more cognizant of it.

Those are some great vids! I play mostly 1st 3rd and pitch and use a 12 inch Fast pitch glove. Medium size pocket yet not to big that i can't get the ball out quickly when i play 3rd. I try to stretch it wide and have the fingers curled in at the tips just a bit. I tried it in the outfield and didn't have the best luck ( a lot to do with i've never really played there ) but it seemed a bit short and not having an H-Web i sometimes lost the ball on pop ups.
