Default New here, old everywhere else...

I've been playing softball for 30 years (and I started late - I'm 64).

I'm the author of a couple of books, including MANAGING AND COACHING ADULT SLOWPITCH SOFTBALL. I do a softball podcast every other Thursday.

I'm a retired college instructor (broadcasting), and for 26 years I ran the college radio station (WPCD-FM, Parkland College, Champaign, IL).

I'm playing on four league teams this year (and managing two of them): two senior teams, a co-rec team, and a young-guys team.

Most of my posts are announcements about the topic I'm covering in my newest podcast. And after almost four years' worth of shows, I've covered a LOT of topics. (Check 'em out at http://thesoftballcorner.com ).

I haven't searched the whole forum yet, but things look friendlier here than at a lot of other forums?

Welcome. For the longest time I thought Dan's Old time corner was a Dan Patrick thing.
