I wouldn't get too hung up on what's available at richards. The only bats I get from there are team bats, since they're gonna get banged up pretty quickly. Not saying that they don't have good bats, they are usually new models from a year or two ago and generally they still ask MSRP or close.

check out this thread, lots of guys giving good advice on websites to buy from.

Dicks sucks. You're better off buying off the board. What kind of bat do you need and for what associationaof play? Im guessing ASA.

For the price you are looking at, you can do MUCH better. Among other places, I have occasionally found great deals on craigslist. I got my buddy a Miken NRG Maxload off there for $50 and recently saw a Freak98 for under $100. There is a long list of bats much better than the ones you listed in the op.

You can do much much better. Don't ever buy balls, gloes, bats, etc from commericial stores. Its a rip off. If you can swing a 26oz I would look into a worth mayhem used. you could could problably pick one up for a tad over $100

You can't try gloves on if you buy them online. The same model glove will fit different. Buy your glove at a sports store, and try several on. Get the one that's most comfortable.
