Maybe its how your logged on if you click the link in a google search to here....
Most likely for unregistered users?

People who just type in the address or pick it out of their bookmarks are "guests"
People who click on a google link are "spiders"
and the "ad spider" is probably that clicked on google sponsored link on another site.


Just a theory, im probably WAY off...lol

Google spiders are multiple super computer bots that follow(crawl?) links all around the internet (web?)and index pages hence the cute name. and the ad sense spiders work similarly except they are here placing ads where we have allowed them to and checking for questionable content which is not allowed on pages that display Google ads I.e. nudity. Google > HUMANS

no because you must be registered and input a password to see the DP. and that's why there's no ads in there too. the spiders are treated like visitors.
