Hell I still have a league tournament we have to play. Postponed last week & this week it's raining.

I want to take a few months off then get ready for spring if I can ever get this season over with. Start working on the back deck and the man cave. Try to score a few bats on the low while I can to restock my stolen ones.

Ski season here. Bats going in the crawlspace. No indoor facilities and looks like ground will be covered in snow through spring starting tonight.

My winter team starts tonight (double header).

I also run pick up games on Saturdays starting up in a couple weeks that run through March. We usually end up with 25-35 guys and play for like 3 hours, too fun.

Might move my sb stuff and my daughter's sb stuff out of the dining room down to the basement. Probably not, though. She starts indoor practice in January. I'm focusing on not becoming fat.

That is not true. Not our current form of winter, but as a former BA-er, it is not sunny SoCal.

My winter schedule is BP every day weather permitting (No rain/snow or windy). Go out with my WD and hit 150-190 balls and take 1 or 2 laps around 1/4 mile track.

As long as the sun is out and not much wind I don't care what the temp is though I do draw the line below 20. Hitting with snow on the field is fun and good exercise as you trudge through the snow to find your softballs.

Used to play indoors twice a week but having hip problems so I am taking this winter off so I can be ready and healthy when our tournament team starts in Feb.
