Too many teams willing to just say if you can't beat them...join them, with altered equipment as well as hot stock bats.

The power to fix the game is in player’s hands, not ASA, USSSA, ISA etc. If you don't want to play in a tourney because you don't like the bats, rules, etc, then you don't play BUT you tell the TD the reason why you aren't playing. If enough people do this, they will change the rules.

Unfortunately, too many people like hitting HRs and buzzing the ball by the pitcher's ear by just plopping down a credit card. It makes them feel like a man. Those who can already hit HRs have an ego as well and the feel that a 400’ HR is better then a 350’ HR. Still one run but hey, they need something to tell the grandkids.

I agree the composite bats have to go. Playing 3rd base now have to play the grass not to get killed. Just sucks to have to worry about the next at bat that may kill you or mame you.

i think id have to give it to the altered bats. It seems like every tourney Ive been to this year someone was swinging something questionable. even small local tourneys to the military worlds.

In unrelated news. Does the Orange crush sound like an ultra all the time or just when you think its a possible painted bat.

I believe that sandbagging has been going on forever. But ever since these composite bats changed the game, shaving, rolling or whatever has ruined the game. So then, the composites bats themselves are the biggest problem with today's game! my opinion

The altered bat problem is so bad, you can't even hit the ball well and not be suspected of using a cheater bat. I have hit a total of 2 homeruns in about 45-50 games between 2 leagues, yet I still hear it almost every game that my white steel is shaved. I know I'm no power hitter, but I would really hope that if my bat was shaved, I would have more than 2 home runs in 50 games.

before composite bats, hitting the middle was NEVER a big deal.
you want to take two steps and shoot me with single-wall, go ahead...
