Too many teams willing to just say if you can't beat them...join them, with altered equipment as well as hot stock bats.
The power to fix the game is in player’s hands, not ASA, USSSA, ISA etc. If you don't want to play in a tourney because you don't like the bats, rules, etc, then you don't play BUT you tell the TD the reason why you aren't playing. If enough people do this, they will change the rules.
Unfortunately, too many people like hitting HRs and buzzing the ball by the pitcher's ear by just plopping down a credit card. It makes them feel like a man. Those who can already hit HRs have an ego as well and the feel that a 400’ HR is better then a 350’ HR. Still one run but hey, they need something to tell the grandkids.
