Default Sunday Coed Softball

Hello Coed Players!

There will be a new coed league starting in 2009! “Coed Classic Softball”

It is going to be full USSSA rules including the two balls for males and females.

This league will run 14 or 15 weeks and another week for a playoff tournament.

It will start in May and end in August just in time for the Coed State Tournament which we will also be hosting as well.

The fields we have locked up thus far are Stokes # 5 (the good field) and
Cow Meadow Park. The games will primarily be at these two fields and the time slots can range from 12:00-5:00 depending on the amount of teams. If we get 8 teams all start times will be between 1:30 and 4:00pm... If we get 12 teams we will range the start times between 12:30 and 5:00... However, all games will be on Sundays and the full schedules will be made in advance. We will cater to all team’s needs which is our ultimate goal.

The price will be much cheaper than ABA (several hundred dollars less)!

If you have any questions please contact [email protected]

The new website is 90% finished and it will include a manager log-in as well as player stats and league leaders.

We will also be running a few coed tournaments that will be USSSA qualifiers for the World Tournament and all of these including the league will give your team points towards your USSSA ranking!

So are there enough teams to supply both an ASA league in Lynbrook and a U-Trip league in Nassau?

I am sure there are enough teams to play in both, but it is just a matter of preference. The best coed league with the best USSSA coed teams (similar to the ABA fall division) is what we are striving towards. Since those that are running this league are USSSA directors it is all going to be run with the utmost integrity and respect for the managers and the game of softball. The best part is that it is a significantly lower price.

That's what this fat kid likes to hear... Especially if all the good teams are going into this... another ABA title, while nice, would be too easy lol..
