Default Are Metal Bat only leagues common?

Up here in CT we are very limited in softball league options and they are almost all non-composite (or metal surface only). Are these leagues common elsewhere? It seems with the standard balls becoming weaker and weaker to counter the bats becoming hotter and hotter, our league suffers. We have to use metal bats against a ball designed for composites. Just wondering if anyone else has found this frustrating.

What bats do you use? We have a couple white/raw steels from last year but i know demarini didnt produce any for 2015. Other than the F7 i dont know of any bats? (Obviously talking about high end bats only).

I have a couple of early Worth Supercell 2s that aren't far behind the Miken composites I bought last summer. They're old, but didn't have much use on them when I got them. They were high-end bats 15 years ago, and in my opinion, are still plenty good for most people.

I bought an Ultimate Weapon earlier this year, 2010-11 model. I like it the best so far, it was $30

We don't, but I would play. If it was my only option I guess it would kind of suck. I have a decent amount of metal...just got a PST from Marl, and also a ESTL like I used to have to go with my 27 PST and ESTK as well as Powercells and a Supercell. Bring it on.

Can we go back to harder balls though if we are going old school? Blah, blah 52's...save it.

I have a Demolition that I still pull out from time to time because it's heavy and fun to swing.

All our bats have to have the 2004 asa stamp on them. We just had our opening night and it looks like all our feet stamping and whining worked because they went back to the .44/375 for us. Atleast we can hit some doubles now.

The new ball brings metals back to relevancy IMO and the Ultimate Weapon is no slouch, just not the most durable with harder balls. Metal only is not common around here, glass only is more common around here but I would rather play with the new balls and metal or even wood only.
