Default Knee/Leg Protectors for Pitchers

I've been using a pair of Umpire leg guards I bought from Academy Sports about 4 years ago, that tend to slip down below my knee cap during a game and am always having to pull them up between batters. Granted they were only about $20, and can clearly see that perhaps they aren't the right size, lengthwise, and am looking to get decent replacements without breaking the bank of course.

Just curious as to see what other fellow pitchers use or what people have seen pitchers on their own team use. I've been looking the hockey equipment route, but not certain if it will give me adequate protection for both kneecap & skin. Oddly enough I've seen a Clearance deal on Easton Prowess Adult Fastpitch Softball Leg Guards that look really good for $30, the problem is I know those are primarily used for women's softball, but then again, I would think leg guards are leg guards when it comes to fitting an Adult Male.

Any suggestions would be appreciated, cheers!

-Paul
