Default How long do you plan to play till? Whats OLD?

I played against a team called Gangrene this year. They are one of the top 5 teams in class E in ILL.. They have a 1st baseman pushing 59+ could be 60's. He still brings a great game to the table and can run like a deer. I for one love watching these older guys still playing it makes me feel good to only be 41 and that if I work hard enough at it I can still be very productive. Being a pitcher may help me last alot longer too.

So what are your goals ya'll on when to hang it up?

I'll be 40 in January and have no plans, long term or otherwise, to retire. I plan on using a UII when it is legal to do so without it being in an outlaw league.

I'll play until I can't. No reason to stop. Probably slow down with the tournaments in a couple years, but always plan on playing league.

I envy the old guys who can still pull off 5 games a day.

IDK I am 32 and I work so much I don't get to play much after april or may for the rest of the year. Hopefully I'll get to start playing more after this year. I'd love to be in my 5o"s and still swing the sticks

I have about 7 years til I am eligible for senior leagues here(50+). Problem #1 is senior leagues are mainly in the city which is 2 hours away, and #2 many I have heard of play during the day (when I work). Maybe try to get on a tourney team or something. I have an OG UII in my closet that I am saving til then. Chances are there will be some kind of ban by then. Either way, I will play until I can't find a team that will have me...or I have a catastrophic injury(knock on wood aka my head).

I feel like I'm just getting started in the game, and getting better every year. As long as I'm having fun playing and can find a team to play on, I'll be playing.
