Default Homerun Limits

Double up the homerun limits as a start for players to stay out of the middle. Reducing limits is just a bad bad idea.....Oh, and it has not done anything to curb sandbagging has it?

Well said..

What do guys think about going back to designated HR hitters?

I just see guys like John Hickey and Kirby Murphy (there are a lot more) being pushed out of the game because there is not enough competition at the upper levels and without a deep pocketed sponsor it is almost impossible to play an A or B schedule...Would allow some of the big boys to swing away which is always fun to see and would be less dangerous than then trying to keep it in the yard..

Maybe something like:
E=0
D=1
C=2
B=3
A=4
Major = Unlimited in stadiums and say 6 on 300 Fields..

But then guys who could hit hrs will still hit middle. If you at least double the hrs im sure it would decrease the amount of balls hit up the middle. This would statistically reduce the chances for injuries. At least thats my theory. Not to mention I want to swing away...

So many suggestions and actual rule changes for the game when the real reason is not addressed. Get rid of composites.

Because rule changes can and will happen. Composites will not go away so why bother with talking about it?

Either up home runs or use a different ball.

How bout this.

E=2
D=4
C=6
B=8

Now we're talking.....

Moving the HR limit up would help a lot.

Default Yup

Home run limits are a joke, even more so today with the technology of the bats.

No matter what guys will still hit middle because nobody is going to want to hit solo's. Sorry I didn't get to introduce myself Buckii on Saturday
