Default Help with bats

Hi all,

I am new at softball, I've been playing some indoor softball in the off-season. The guys that organize the league bring the kit, and there is one bat I've been using which I love:

Louisville Slugger Gamer SB804. It's a 34" 30oz bat.

Unfortunately it is discontinued, I was wondering:L

1) if anybody knows whether this is a balanced or a front loaded bat
2) what is the equivalent from LS
3) what would be an equivalent bat from any other brand.

Thanks a lot.

F

Too many questions. Let's see:

Fuzz: I don't have a clue, the indoor is just a temporary league to stay in shape over winter. No real rules or prizes or trophies. So I know we use the indoor rules, but nothing governing the bats or gloves for that matter.

HB2: Not metal only. The bat is metal, but there are composite bats around as well. I just bat better with this one.

OPPO: We are now using the soft softball (the indoor one), but I would like the same bat to be useful when we move to the harder balls.

Thanks

You Gould be swinging composite when possible. Get an aftermath from demarini or a j3a and really have some fun.

I'm assuming you're talking about an Incrediball or similar training softball. They look like a normal softball but you can squeeze them like something made by Nerf. If so, no bat composition is going to help, heavy and end loaded are your friends.

With that being said, White Steel or Raw Steel are your weapons of choice. And if you move to a harder ball it will likely be a 52 cor variant in which case the Steels also kill that ball.

the "steel" line will feel/swing different then the tps you are using.
the upside is the performance will be greater
