Default Dudley SB12 Core .44 375 compression

Our league (men slow pitch) just switched to these softballs. They switched because the balls we used last year resulted in to many home runs (core .40 500 compression) Is there a big difference or slight with this change?
Thanks

I have always found the SB 12 to be crap. Get ready for a lot of whining.

Its better than the .52/300 we played with last year using metal only bats! We switched back to .44/375 this year and its a world of difference. I cant imagine hitting a harder ball with composites
