Default Cuse6189 Retirement thread

Im sure alot of you will be happy to know I'm hanging it up after the closer, time to do the family thing. I always said when the game wasn't fun or when my family needed me around I would take a break. The real question is wo will stay retired longer Kenny or I.

You are too young to retire for good yet. You will be back next year. Perhaps you will cut back from 4 teams to 2 teams, but you will still play.

Since I "retired" a while ago, I've hit a combined .846 in about 8 games, in 4 different leagues... so you win.

Ill fill in for old friends when needed but I just need a break, Ryno Im only playing 2 nights a week right now and thats too much. I might be back but not until my daughter is about 3 or 4 its just tough on the family and wife with me not being around. Our last game yesterday was a good example on why I would rather be at home.

How can you go from the guy who wouldn't sleep the night before the opener to the guy who is quitting over the span of a few months? You need to loosen up and have more fun at the field. You didn't look like you were enjoying yourself half the time yesterday.
