It is a good bat. Not a log, not necessarily what you would call a hot stick. Don't remember the loading on it, but teammate used to have one and it was solid, just not spectacular.

The evo was a GOOD bat. Not great. I put it in the mlc category. Not sure about loading. Demarini didn't go crazy with endloaded bats back then. Good option better out there. If you want an evo I suggest getting a og juggy or j2

good but not great seems to be what im looking for atm, my '13 superfreak opened up and is now hitting to far on half swings. looking for a bat that will allow me to hit good line drives but not drive to the out fielder at 275' which the superfreak is now doing.

if I had better power might be able to hit over the 300' fence as it is Im hitting line drives to them which is irritating lol.

My best advice is to learn to out backspin on the ball. These will take those line drives to the fence. Also never settle for goo line drives. Hard line drives that continuously bang off the fence is the goal. You've got the power to do it. Just have to work on it. I will tell you that any demarini is better than miken lol. Sorry never been a miken fan.

I have a love hate relationship with Demar's Love the idea and even get to swing a few(metal) just havent found one that talks to me yet. Most of the bats i see are Worth Easton Miken and Demarini in that order, occasional oddball nike or miz. as far as spin goes workin on it.

The EVO is a great bat that was balanced and had decent barrel flex. They just need to be broken in, I have a couple of the fast pitch EVO's that are ridiculous. Super big sweet spot and can easily go out on 300'. That's a big surprise for me as I don't swing light or balanced well.

It will either be good or still need break in, should be very soft. Also, don't spend more than $80 on it, seen clean ones sit for a long time at that price. Very underrated.
