Default 2015 Salvo

I'm looking at buying a new bat (.52/300 balls) I really like my old salvo srv5. Has anyone played with the 2015 salvo and how does it compare to the srv5? If not, what are some recommendations on hot Asa bats?

So many better options.
But I know you have convenced yourself that Easton is the greatest thing in the world.
If you like the Salvo, go ahead and get it. No matter what anyone says, the best bat is the one that fits your swing the best.
But since you asked, I would choose all of these before that Salvo:
Combat, well anything that had an ASA stamp
Demarini, well any one that had the ASA Stamp
Boombah Boss
Mizuno Green Mamba
Freak Black
I would choose the Salvo over the ASA Z's. Them things are avarage at best.

Thanks. I have a J3 but inadvertently let it become a team bat. So I'm not like an Easton fanboy or anything. I just habent decided if I like to one or two piece designs best. I've heard a lot about combat but never swung any of their bats. We don't have much for variety where I'm from. Pretty much everyone uses demarini and for good reason

Sorry wans't trying to be a Richard there...my bad
Keep that J3 out of others hands. That should be your baby.
Go to Boombahs website and get the Boss for, next to nothing. It will take some bp to get good...............but well worth the time.
Its is a two-piece but is stiff in the handle.

Salvo is fine for a team bat also, just don't over pay.

Oh, if you want instant gratification for your homies, that Mizuno does not take very long to get going and stays there. Just a thought

I didn't take it that way. I was just clarifying that I'm open to other options. I appreciate any advice I can get.

Why don't you try the demarini aftermath or the MONSTA bat!

I've heard mixed things about the monstas. I've swung the DNA and I liked it a lot but it was shaved(I did not use it in a league game). So I only really know the feel of those bats when they've been altered. I'm really just looking for a durable bat that will heat up and give me a little bit more pop than what I've got. I know ultimately it's up to me and not the bat but the extra distance and ball speed does make a difference in a league that is regrettably a little crooked.

Give the USA Aftermath a shot, 12" barrel like & stiff handle like your old Salvo. Technology performs extremely well with the 52cor balls. Really notice it on mis hitting 52's where other bats won't give you much, the Aftermath's really still put some stink on the ball IMO.
