Will ISA be making a comeback to Long Island in 2013 or will we all be going out and buying brand new bats?

With this said you would think that non composite bats would be allowed to be grandfathered in no matter what, because there is no break in process and the bats get no better with use...but i don't think that's the case.

Just out of curiosity, and only because I really haven't been keeping up on this, will they possibly be recertifying any bats??? And are there any insiders who might know which bats, if any are going to be grandfathered into this ruling???

It seems as if after 12/31/12 there will be no more grandfathered bats. Only new bats that have the manufactured new stamp on it will be allowed in play. That is at least what I understood it to mean.

Ok, so what will differentiate the '12 bats from it's predecessors???

I think they will perform closer to ASA bats...I think it's just a dumbing down type thing at least after the full break in process.

Ok. Did I read somewhere that there won't be any endcaps or something??? Or what will now make these bats perform below the 1.20 bpf standard??? Sorry so many questions, but if I ask these over at SBF someone will inevitably blow it up with some stupid rap lyric or something that has shit to do with it.

who cares about this? they wont come out with the 2013 approved bats until december 2012 so they can keep selling what they have made now. worry about it then.
