Default Blackout Love

The bad news: My 28 OG CNT+ broke tonight. My fave bat ever.

The good news: Brought my semi-broken in EL Blackout with me as well in case we ran out of HR's (CNT is pretty smoking so sometimes get an oops dbo)cuz I figure it would stay in the yard no prob. One side is apparently a little more along. 295' double, 300'+ HR, 295' oppo flyout, co-ed line-ish pop out. So, while I am not totally dialed in with this and it is a tad lighter (27.5), I gotta say this thing is completely legit. For the price, you can do a lot worse and the durability is supposedly there for my colder climate.
Quick review: fairly stiff swing but ball comes off barrel pretty effortlessly on the big sweet-spot. Still kinda 'clunks' on the sides of barrel not broken in. Not a real noticeable EL.
8/10 but I think I really may come to love this bat. Like really love it. I have loved all things Mizuno except bats. My view has changed. Gonna look into a 28oz BA as my next bat or maybe a 28.5 EL if I find a smoking price.

Sorry for your loss. Those scn2's go for a premium unless their beat to death so hope you have a stash. Always wondered about the blackout. Durability is suppose to be off the charts.

I use sy100s & an scx22 for the cold times....well southeastern cold times anyway.

You might like it based on those bats.
And they don't go for a premium as much as they used to. I have a 27 left, but next year we can't use old stamp bats. Have tourney next weekend, so I will probably just use my 27 and the Blackout. Really think I need a heavier BO though, so will keep an eye out this winter.

I need to hit him up for some new turfs.
And judging by your style of bats, you will like I am pretty sure.

Yeah, the U-trip. I really want a heavier one and would like to try the BA one. If I really fall in love with it, I may try the ASA one next spring.
