Default My Review DeMarini The One ASA 26oz

I was able to hit it last wends. I was not sure what to expect since all new ASA bats had to be toned down. As of now I have only hit the new Eastons and have stayed away from Demoing the new Worths and Mikens.

Bat is 26oz and weighs 26.3oz the scale. Balanced for a 26oz no endload that I can tell. Maybe on the heavier models but I won't know untill I get some in the store.

We hit it in doors since we still have snow on the ground and used a mixture of balls some 47 some 44 and a few 40. We put around 300-400 swings on it. Right out of the wrapper I was pleased. Definitly lived up to it's rep as one piece feel no flex. This for me was great since I'm not a fan of bats that have a whippy feel. Sweet spot being brand new is very generous and can't wait to see how hot it gets as we put more on it.

Over all from what I have been reading on the new Worths and Mikens, this will be one of the bats to have for the upcoming year. I think alot of players that like Eastons Worths and Mikens will find this bat to thier liking. I feel like this is a real break through for DeMarini since this bat is a first for them in the composite market.

I will highly recomend this bat to all of my customers and players looking for the best bat in 09.

Nice review. How toned down does it seem compared to old ASA bats?

Suprisingly the RD28 is a nice bat right out of the wrapper....New Demarini's are looking good.
