Default Yellow derby boy

I know it's not the new green derby boy or whatever color it is but I just gotta say I got this thing on sale and I believe it has almost converted me from my worths after only about 60 cuts it has started spiraling and is straight fire anybody else just absolutely love this bat?

Best SS of any 12” barrel bat I’ve hit with. Good bat don’t get me wrong, but a stiffer handle with a true .5 – 1oz el would be much better to me. Both of mine felt real light.

I picked up a 28 this winter (used) and have yet to swing. But I am looking so very forward to it.

From what you said on here the derby should fit you like a glove. I curious about the new Guirnhart of whatever the name is derby they come in .5 weights like a jh or blackout

I think so too. Will see what the weather is like Tuesday night whether I bring it out or wait a couple more weeks.

yea a little stiffer handle would be better because of the one piece worths im used to swinging they are very stiff but this bat could very easily allow my worths to be for sale.

If you like that feel. Get a new xr17 plague you can get a good price. It will out hit the dbu & a jh with the wrapper still on no lie. Stiffer handle & my 28 has real good el. Best new stamp I've hit with by a long shot. I did some tee work yesterday & was blown away after about 20 love taps. I use to be all worth/ miken myself but I sold my last worth a couple weeks ago

Soft barrel does it again. It is a nice bat, and the performance was pretty good, I just have difficulties adjusting to that soft barrel. More used to the response I get with a stiffer feel. Something the way I follow through on feel. I am not giving up on it, I will just do some bp with it when I can to really get a feel for it. I like the balancing and the swing through the zone. Very smooth. It is just that last part that has me mystified. I want to love it, but I just can't yet.
That said, I brought my 28 DBU, 28 SY100 and there was an 09 Ressy on the fence last night, and by the end of the game, about 6 out of 9 guys were swinging the DBU.
