Default 2013 Derby Boys 427 brief review

I had the chance to swing a 34/27 the other day and I thought I would share.

Wow what a beast of a bat. Iím definitely impressed. Maybe 50 hits on the one I used & it was homeruns at will. I had a 2B guy pitching to me with some utrip evil m stamps. Miss hits were 310-325í hrís(walked off) or super nasty line drives. A direct hit was out of the park in a hurry with good distance. 3 of us hit with it and the results were pretty much the same. The sweet spot seems big and miss hits are rare we just had slim pickings with pitches from one another. IMO the best 2013 bat I have touchedÖ.best part is I got one for $150 including shipping brand spanking new. My 1st & only experience with combats.

We put it against a 2013 worth filthy 34/28 (about 100-110 hits on it) which I thought was the best 2013 till I picked the DB427 up. Only complaint is itís bright freaking yellow and is smoking hot when it looks brand new. Definitely going to be some crying going on in the other dugout with this one.

3 players that used it for reference:
SS(myself) 6í5 238lb line more of a line drive power hitter
LC 6í 2Ē 225lb about the same as myself
2B 5í 10Ē 190-205lb more of place hitter with pretty good power (still hit a hr out of every side of the field)

A true power hitter would probably bomb 375-400ft at will with this bat ridiculous.

Can't argue with that review. Pretty much agree.

Just to differentiate it from the 275. Model is db427sp1

Did I say 375-400ft shots at will? lol….don’t know what I was smoking that day. You can put on a show with it though.

I call it my fubu bat....for players by players. Need a 30oz, but the ball comes off the bat with some nice speed.
