anyone ever use this bat? I have one NIW, and I am debating about keeping it or trading it for something else. I think I may need a new ASA bat soon.

I had the utrip version. These bats are tanks, but they need about 500 hits to start opening up

Once it gets broken in, it has a lot of pop and a big sweetspot. It is a great bat, imo.

My review is for the maxload version, not sure how to delete this post or my vote, going to copy this to the maxload thread.

NRG500 is going to take 1500-2000 to get hot and full sweetspot unless you're hitting rocks. Comparable distance to the recoil and f98 but it swings differently, feels more endloaded. I think it has to do with the sharp taper or a figment of my imagination... Hopefully it will get as hot as my f98 when it starts webbing, hits just like the f98 before the f98 started webbing.
