Swung my buddies fresh out if the wrapper and was pleasantly surprised at the distance even though it was light for me. The sound is piercing if you're not expecting it. It looks nice but looking and handling it closely, seems like it's cheaply made. The rubber buffer between the two pieces wasn't uniform and even all around, also the endcap looks/feels like brittle plastic that may not last. Part of this is probably cause I've seen others with the rubber piece giving way. I'd definitely keep the receipt and get a new one before the warranty runs out or just buy a quality pr-abi and be happier.

The ASA Z that i had started to wobble after about 300 hits and went strong after that. The rubber connector piece had some pieces out of it from the bat getting tossed around but never hurt the performance. Endcap stayed perfect. Bat was scratched and scuffed up from the shit ass fields we play on and only had a couple small paint chips. Hit the ball well right out of the wrapper and the performance improved slightly over the time i had the bat. Sold it with close to 500-600 hits on it because i didnt play asa anymore. It was a very good bat and i wouldnt hesistate to get another. Yes the sound is god awfully awesome if you like everyone to stare at you and the umpires to constatly check your bat for cracks.
