They said they are usually smaller so that is why they use the ultrasound machine to get needle in the right spot. Sounds like mine was like shooting a hot air balloon out of the sky when it is 10' off the ground.

What is the diagnosis from the doctor?

No. They reset it. Hurt like you'd think. And 3 injections of cortisone.

Shit that makes me cringe. My right knee sounds like a ripped rubber band so ill be at the specialist here within a few weeks myself

Buddy of mine dislocated his kneecap last winter pushing a car out of an intersection in the snow. Still bothers him if he moves it just right.
